Introduction

Looking back the over 38 years, I have been convinced that more and more people do not understand the difference between solid wood furniture and furniture manufactured from wood panels of crushed and pressed saw dust and glue covered with veneer or laminate overlay.  Moreover, they do not comprehend the cost difference of solid wood construction that may cost as much as 5 times more (depending on the panel's density) then MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) or Particle board furniture.
